Una sesión dedicada a Pablo Swiss, en dos partes: primero, una selección de su obra para presentar al artista; después, una primera escucha de sus grabaciones nuevas, todavía en bruto, antes de que pasen al disco. Presenta David Guerra, fundador y director de MARCA RIBE.

Pablo Swiss es el nombre artístico de Alain Emile, compositor caborrojeño para cine y otros medios, radicado en Los Ángeles. En ‘SEVEN’ y ‘Desert María’ construye música ambient y electrónica a partir de improvisaciones y grabaciones de campo, algunas hechas en la costa de Cabo Rojo.

El artista se hará presente con un mensaje en video, grabado especialmente para Omelas. Tras una breve pausa, escuchamos en compañía las grabaciones destinadas a su primer vinilo: una invitación a ser parte de su proceso, en la primera de las MARCA RIBE Sessions en Omelas. Todos los ingresos de la sesión se destinan a la producción del disco.

Sesión de la tarde: Puertas abren a las 4:30pm y la sesión comienza a las 5:00pm.

Sesión de la noche: Puertas abren a las 7:30pm y la sesión comienza a las 8:00pm.

MARCA RIBE Sessions: Pablo Swiss

A session devoted to Pablo Swiss, in two parts: first, a selection of his work to introduce the artist; then a first listen to his new recordings, still raw, before they are committed to the record. Introduced by David Guerra, founder and director of MARCA RIBE.

Pablo Swiss is the artist name of Alain Emile, a film and media composer from Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, based in Los Angeles. On ‘SEVEN’ and ‘Desert María’ he builds ambient, electronic music out of improvisations and field recordings, some of them made on the coast of Cabo Rojo.

The artist will be present through a video message recorded specially for Omelas. After a brief pause we’ll listen to the recordings intended for his first vinyl: an invitation to be part of his process, in the first of the MARCA RIBE Sessions at Omelas. All proceeds from the session go to the production of the record.

His records are available directly from the artist’s Bandcamp.

Afternoon Session: Doors 4:30pm, session begins 5:00pm.

Evening Session: Doors 7:30pm, session begins 8:00pm.
